Brookline strives to always purchase raw materials from local suppliers that are environmentally conscious, to buy wood from sources that are committed to re-foresting and continually looking for ways to eliminate waste from our manufacturing process. Our organization is a proud member of the Sustainable Furniture Council (SFC)  The SFC is a coalition of manufacturers, retailers and designers dedicated to raising awareness and expanding the adoption of environmentally sustainable practices across the home furnishings industry.  SFC members lead the industry in best practices throughout their supply chains and are committed to continuous work toward a healthy future, inside and out.
